This contract is a sole source requirement awarded to The Boeing Company, providing multi-platform sustainment engineering services to support the 848 SCMG engineering team. It facilitates engineering assistance and solutions from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for a variety of weapon systems, including B-1, B-52, C-17, E-3, F-15, KC-135, KC-46, and AGM-86. The contract is essential for addressing issues related to structures, avionics, accessories, ground support, and commodity items, especially when the government’s existing data, even with Government Purpose Rights, Form, Fit and Function, or Operation, Maintenance, Installation, and Training data, is insufficient to complete the required Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness analyses. The contractor must have access to the OEM's proprietary internal data systems and specialized analytical tools necessary to perform these tasks. This access is critical because the contract requires the use of detailed design data not previously delivered to the government. The scope of work is governed by the revised Performance Work Statement Version 15, added as part of Amendment-2 to the solicitation. The solicitation was posted on February 4, 2026, with a response deadline of February 11, 2026, and is managed by the Department of Defense office located at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The primary point of contact for this contract is the 424th SCMG, with Mark C. Green listed as a secondary contact.
