Page 1 of 4 The following is a Sources Sought Notice for market research. This posted notice is not a Pre- Solicitation or Solicitation document. The Government is not currently soliciting bids, quotations, or proposals at this time; however, reserves the right to do so at a later date. The Pittsburgh VA Human Engineering Research Laboratories requires a flexible wheelchair cushion pressure sensor mat meeting the following requirements:
Brand name or Equal Descriptions for the requirement: Please note that any reference to a brand-name product is herein provided solely for descriptive purposes and shall not be construed as an intention by the Department of Veterans Affairs to procure that specific product(s). When a brand-name product is identified, prospective offerors shall treat such reference as a benchmark for design, performance, or quality standards. Salient Characteristics: Size: 18in x 18in Resolution: 1/2 in Pressure Rating: 5-200mmHg Device specific encryption and security software Classified as a CSA/CE Class 1 ISO 60601-1 medically approved product Device comes pre-calibrated, does not require additional calibration equipment The sensor mat must be one single piece Mat must be foldable and ultra thin Accuracy rating of at least +/- 5% No prone to drift or environmental interference
