Full Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract in accordance with FAR 8.405-3. The Naval Air Training and Experimental Command (NATEC) at Patuxent River, MD intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Priced contract type for Anark Core Workstation software. Anark Core Workstation is software that allows subject matter experts (SMEs) to create business rules of imported data and artifacts to publish stand-alone PDF documents. Using Anark Core Workstation to create recipes and combining them with templates and artifacts will help standardize and test the methodology for converting native Computer Aided Design (CAD) models into 3Di viewable. Original equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) are not constrained to any one modeling software, making it necessary to explore multiple CAD software packages. Anark Core Workstation along with its CAD integration software allows a user to import models developed in CREO for downstream consumption. This Special Notice is not a request for competitive proposals and does not commit the Government to award a contract as a result of this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitve procurement. The information provided herein is for informational purposes only. These requirements are subject to change base on the Government's need.
