Andreasen Pipeline Extension

The Andreasen Pipeline Extension project, managed by the Rincon del Diablo Municipal Water District, involves the installation of approximately 410 linear feet of 24-inch diameter potable water pipeline. The work is located in Escondido, California, specifically on S. Andreasen Drive between Chamblis Ct. and Enterprise St. The primary objectives of the project are to enhance water delivery and quality while providing critical fire flow improvements. All construction activities will take place within the existing public right-of-way and paved roadway limits, with a restriction that activity will not exceed one-half mile of the roadway at any given time. There is no proposed increase in the pipeline diameter. The project is classified under NAICS code 237110 and has been granted a California Environmental Quality Act exemption under CEQA Guidelines section 15282(k) and Public Resources Code section 21080.21.
