Full Description

The purpose of this is to provide care and maintenance of animals and laboratory technical support for the research at the laboratories of NIOSH, an institute of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Quality laboratory animals for use in our experiments, and quality technical personnel to aid in experiments, will help provide NIOSH with some of the needed data to recommend appropriate exposure limits in the workplace. The research animals must be maintained under carefully controlled conditions to allow the accurate interpretation of laboratory results. Consequently, it is essential that the animal housing and exposure facilities be properly maintained to avoid any situation or condition that might adversely affect experimental results
