Full Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Hardware/Software Branch, Software Section, (DITCO/PL8321), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source order to Metastorm, 5481 West Waters Ave., Suite 100, Tampa, FL 33634. This acquisition is to renew the annual maintenance and support for Metastorm products (both mainframe and server) for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Computing Services Logistics. Metastorm has proprietary rights to the software code for the Metastorm products associated with this requirement and is the only known source that can provide this maintenance support. No other vendor or distributor can legally obtain access to the software and no other vendor can make duplicate copies since it is protected by copyright and patent laws. The Period of Performance is 7/21/09 - 7/20/10. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance and support must request a copy of the RFQ not later than 7/01/09 via the following address: contact@example.gov. You may fax written correspondence to facsimile +1 (555) 000-0000. Oral requests are not acceptable. The estimated award date is 7/21/09. The resultant purchase order will be firm fixed price.
