The SPAWAR Systems Center Charleston intends to award a $549,568 sole-source contract to ALION/JJMA in support of the Maritime Toxic Pen Project. ALION/JJMA will provide ship check support, design efforts for the antennas, ABS (American Bureau of Shipping of Maritime Standards) Approval, Equipment Fabrication and Installation efforts and testing for the Maritime Toxic Pen Project. ALION/JJMA will fabricate and install the antenna, which must be customized to each platform’s unique electromagnetic signature, and cabling must be electrically matched to be the same length between each antenna node.
