The Department of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has a requirement to provide support services using OMNIS Classic and OMNIS Studio software development tools for the AMI application which include; software improvements, correcting data, analyzing the impact and the estimated level of effort for client change requests, developing new interfaces with SAP and legacy systems, advising on decisions to upgrade the application and apply upgrades to new releases of the OMNIS development software as required. The intended outcome is to have continued maintenance support for the AMI application and program enhancements as needed. The application needs daily monitoring to ensure it is always up and running. End users rely on this application to be available every day to produce G&Cs agreements, issue payment and contract requests to SAP, and perform other required daily tasks.
