Apron Floodlight Poles

Notice of intent to use a brand name product. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific (NAVFAC Pacific) is conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 to identify potential manufacturers capable of producing apron floodlight poles that have equal performance and listing/approval requirements as the Ingal EPS Floodlight Pole (Part Number PTH35F) that is manufactured by Ingal EPS. Responses from third-party distributors, pass-through resellers, or supply brokers who do not directly own the production line or manufacturing rights to a qualified equivalent product will not be considered responsive to this market survey.  

FY26 Project WWXT240800 Multi-Purpose Apron and Taxiway, located on Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Tindal (TDL), Australia requires apron floodlight poles that demonstrate the following salient characteristics:   

• The floodlight pole should facilitate prolonged lowering from the base of the pole utilising readily available lowering equipment at RAAF Base Tindal utilised for Ingal EPS Floodlight Pole (Part Number PTH35F). 

This is not a request for proposals, quotes, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential alternative apron floodlight poles that will satisfy agency requirements. To be considered, please submit detailed technical data in order for the Government to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your product to ensure compatibility with the existing system. In accordance with FAR 15.101(c)(2), a response to this notice is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The responder is solely responsible for the information it submits and any associated costs. The Government reserves the right to disregard any submittal that is incomplete or vague. Please do not submit company brochures. Any information provided to the Government in response to this RFI will become U.S. Government property and will not be returned.
