The project includes the installation of conduit systems, fiber optic cable, access vaults, and directional markers to support a middle-mile broadband network, enhancing regional connectivity and digital infrastructure. This activity is authorized under Encroachment Permit 03-25-6-BB-0297 and is part of a broader effort to expand high-speed internet access across critical transportation corridors. The contract is forecasted to be posted on June 2, 2026, and is managed by Caltrans District 3, with Dotrik Wilson serving as the primary point of contact for the state and Tiffanny Hale as the project manager for Arcadian. The work will occur within state highway rights-of-way and requires coordination to ensure minimal disruption to traffic and existing utilities.
