ARCHITECT-ENGINEER (A-E) CIVIL STRUCTURAL IDIQ FOR NORTHERN & CENTRAL STATES OF INTERIOR US

The US Forest Service is soliciting a small business set-aside for a multiple award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide architect-engineer design and inspection services. The contract focuses on transportation systems across the northern and central interior United States, specifically within Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, Colorado, and Kansas. The scope includes civil, structural, water, and wastewater design for road and trail bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other infrastructure such as snow sheds and campgrounds. The government intends to award at least five contracts with a total ceiling of 8 million dollars over a five-year performance period, with a guaranteed minimum of 2,500 dollars within the first three years. Qualified firms must be registered in the System for Award Management and submit their qualifications using the SF 330. Selection is based on an order of preference considering professional qualifications, specialized technical competence, capacity to mobilize across a broad geographic area, and past performance with federal or state land management agencies in the Northwestern US over the last three years. Key technical requirements include professional licensure in the project states, adherence to National Bridge Inspection Standards, and advanced rope-access certifications from organizations such as SPRAT or IRATA. Task orders will be issued as firm-fixed price contracts based on specific project needs.
