AI Contract Overview

Architect-Engineer firms are required to annually submit a current SF254 form to the Architect-Engineer Contract Administration Support System (ACASS), which supports source selection for various Department of Defense and federal agencies. ACASS maintains records of firms' past performance, SF254 details, and award data, playing a crucial role in identifying qualified firms for both competitive and non-competitive contract awards. All submissions must be signed and sent to the designated address with the Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District. New firms not yet in ACASS must apply by submitting a completed and signed SF254 form. This contract update, posted in February 2003 by the W071 Endist Portland office of the Department of Defense, underscores the importance of keeping ACASS records current to facilitate smooth contract administration. It applies broadly across authorized construction agents like USACE, NAVFAC, and National Guard units, as well as non-Defense federal agencies, ensuring adherence to federal regulations in contractor qualification processes. Additional assistance is available through the ACASS team, reachable by phone for inquiries related to the submission process.
