This Invitation to Tender cancels and replaces the Invitation to Tender 30005201
Works in Grande Entrée include but without being limited to :
1. Demolition and disposal of structures shown on plans.
2. Excavation and management of wharf backfill in limit shown on plans;
3. Installation of new section of armor rock protection;
4. It is to consider that Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) already acquired
stones for actual project that will be available on January 15th 2024:
4.1 Armor rock stones;
4.2 Filter stones;
5. Material supplied by DFO will be shipped by DFO onsite.
6. Contractor will be in charge of users security onsite.
FAMILIARIZATION WITH SITE
Before submitting a bid, bidders can visit the site and its surroundings, at their own expense, to review and verify the form,
nature, and extent of the work, materials needed for the completion of the work, the means of access to the site, severity,
exposure, and uncertainty of weather, soil conditions, any accommodations they may require, and in general shall obtain
all necessary information as to risks, contingencies, and other circumstances which may influence or affect their bid. No
allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection on account or error or negligence to properly observe and
determine the conditions that will apply.
CONSTRUCTION TIME
The Contractor must perform and complete all Work by April 26, 2024.
