The work covered under this contract consists of:
1. Mobilization, demobilization and weigh scales.
2. Sitework, demolition, removal, salvage, sorting, stockpiling and reinstallation of existing armourstone, filterstone to the lines and grades indicated.
3. Carry out underwater excavation to accommodate new filterstone and armourstone installation.
4. Load, supply, and installation of approved core stone to the lines and grades indicated.
5. Supply and installation of geotextile (filter fabric).
6. Load, supply and placement filter stone to the lines and grades indicated.
7. Load, supply, and placement of armourstone to the lines and grades indicated.
FAMILIARIZATION WITH SITE
Before submitting a bid, bidders can visit the site and its surroundings, at their own expense, to review and verify the form, nature, and extent of the work, materials needed for the completion of the work, the means of access to the site, severity, exposure, and uncertainty of weather, soil conditions, any accommodations they may require, and in general shall obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies, and other circumstances which may influence or affect their bid. No allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection on account or error or negligence to properly observe and determine the conditions that will apply.
CONSTRUCTION TIME
The Contractor must perform and complete all Work by MARCH 31, 2024.
