As a method to reduce energy costs and meet its clean energy goals, Ada County (“County”) is interested in entering into a contract for the design, procurement, and installation of a complete grid-connected, turnkey Photovoltaic (“PV”) System on the rooftop of the recently completed Ada County Coroner’s Facility, a County-owned building located at 95 N. Touchmark Way, Meridian, ID 83642 (“Project”), as more specifically described below and in the Scope of Work attached hereto as Exhibit A. County is a direct recipient of certain funds pursuant to the American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA Funds”). This Project is contingent upon the existence of remaining ARPA Funds after other particular projects are funded thereby. Therefore, if no ARPA Funds remain after their obligation for such other projects, then this RFP 25003 will be cancelled and/or no contract will be awarded. However, because ARPA Funds must be obligated by December 31, 2024, County desires to move forward with RFP 25003 to ensure that any remaining ARPA Funds available for the Project can be timely obligated as required by federal law.
