Dignity Health and LifePoint Health (Applicant) requests entitlements to facilitate the construction and operation of a new rehabilitation hospital (Dignity Health Central Coast Rehabilitation Hospital) at the existing Arroyo Grande Community Hospital campus. The project would involve the development of a 52-bed facility. The project would include grading and site improvements over the entire project site, installation of utilities and infrastructure over the entire project site, parking, and construction of rehabilitation hospital, including 52 beds and support amenities such as the lobby and dining areas. The project would result in an increase of approximately 78 employees on-site distributed between two 12-hour shifts.
