Arroyo Restoration Project

The project proposes to restore 4.98 acres of native habitat within an area locally known as “The Arroyo “at California Citrus State Historic Park (Cal-Citrus). The project would reduce the threat of hazardous wildfire as well as reduce the danger to visitors of falling limbs. The project proposes to restore 4.98 acres of native habitat within an area locally known as “The Arroyo “at California Citrus State Historic Park (Cal-Citrus), which currently supports an extensive grove of invasive eucalyptus. The project would reduce the threat of hazardous wildfire as well as reduce the danger to visitors of falling limbs that eucalyptus trees are prone to. The project will consist of phases that include the removal of trees and be followed by habitat restoration.
