Asphalt Paving & Patching

This subcontract for asphalt paving and patching involves performing removal and replacement services for prime contractors on Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration roadway projects located in Anne Arundel County. The scope of work includes removing existing wearing surfaces and installing 19mm asphalt for patches and 12.5mm asphalt for bridge approaches. To ensure a precise finish, the contractor will execute notched tie-ins using saw cutting or skid steer milling. The operation requires the use of specialized equipment, including skid steers with milling heads and tack coat machinery. All work must be performed in strict accordance with MASH compliance and MDOT SHA Standard Specifications. The final deliverables consist of completed asphalt patches and fully resurfaced bridge approaches.
