Request for Standing Offer for Assembly Services – Pants for Men This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Québec Region Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid. Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid. Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This standing offer does not include security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) - CORCAN has a requirement to provide assembly services of coveralls for men in various sizes, on an ‘as and when requested basis’. These pants are products for inmates at various institutions across Canada. Objectives: To provide a complete assembly service of pants for men, in various sizes, on an ‘as and when requested basis. Tasks: The Contractor must provide assembly of men’s pants, on an ‘as and when requested basis’; this includes, but is not limited to, cutting the fabric according to the pictogram, pattern and size charter supplied by CORCAN. The Contractor must provide assembly services of men’s pants that are compliant with the specifications, the applicable tables and drawings, the size chart and the sealed sample. SUPPLIES: CSC-CORCAN will provide the following materials to the Contractor: o White fabric; o Nylon #5 zipper, 7 ½ “; o Buttons o Adjustment buckle; o Digital MDL format pattern, pictogram and size chart; and o Size labels to sew onto the interior of the garments The Contractor must provide: o Markers; o White thread as similar as possible to the shade of the white fabric; either a polyester thread (core), or a polyester thread wrapped in cotton or polyester; o Clear poly bags; o Adhesive labels to stick on the clear poly bags; o Shipping boxes; o Pallets for transportation; o Any other required supplies. Deliverables: The Contractor must assemble, package and deliver the the finished pants in accordance with the instructions in the Annex A – Statement of Work. Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none. Estimated quantity of commodity: see solicitation document statement of work and basis of payment. Duration of Standing Offer and Time Frame for Delivery: Period of the Standing Offer: The Work is to be performed during the period of Standing Offer award to January 31, 2025 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.
