Full Description

NASA/KSC has a requirement for Astos trajectory optimization software and SOCS optimization software (runtime version). The Launch Services Program (LSP) at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) requires flight trajectory analyses for all missions and requires software to interface with existing orbital mechanics software. The software produced by Astos meets the Government's requirements. NASA/KSC intends to purchase the following software from Astos Solutions, Inc as Astos is uniquely qualified to provide the Government the necessary software. CLIN 1 - Astos Trajectory Optimization Software, including updates CLIN 2 - SOCS Optimization Software, runtime version The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit a detailed description of capabilities, qualifications, and relevant past performance that establishes ability to perform the effort. This information must be submitted in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 4:00pm eastern time on May 25, 2010. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".
