NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE: The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Acquisition Management, Investigations and Operations Support- Dallas office intends to negotiate a non-competitive award (Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) sole-source with Astrophysics, Inc. to provide an Astrophysics X-Ray Inspection Machine to include an additional five (5) year extended warranty with installation and training. The intended procurement is classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334517 Irradiation Apparatus Manufacturing. STATUTORY AUTHORITY: In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), the Contracting Officer may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. THIS SPECIAL NOTICE IS NOT A SOLICITATION or request for competitive offers, quotations or proposals. It does not constitute a commitment or an obligation by the Government.
