AI Contract Overview
Duncanville Independent School District (DISD) has issued a multi-award Request for Proposals (RFP) for vendors providing athletic supplies, equipment, and services for the 2025-2026 school year, with an option to extend the contract for up to three additional years through mutual agreement. This solicitation, identified as MS-25-26.006, aims to establish a catalog of approved vendors from which district employees may purchase goods and services as needed, ensuring compliance with state purchasing laws and competitive procurement requirements. Discounted pricing offered by vendors must include all shipping and handling costs with an F.O.B. destination unless otherwise negotiated. The district reserves the right to award contracts to multiple vendors over the solicitation period based on proposals that provide the best value and also to postpone or reject proposals as deemed necessary. The scope of the solicitation broadly encompasses athletic supplies, equipment, and related services to meet the diverse needs of the District throughout the contract term. Vendors interested in doing business with DISD must submit a complete proposal response by the deadline of June 22, 2026. While formal contracting clauses such as FAR or DFARS provisions are not explicitly included, the procurement adheres to standard public sector purchasing practices. No specific evaluation criteria, pricing sheets, or contract values are disclosed in the solicitation documents, but vendors are expected to provide firm pricing inclusive of all charges. Although detailed delivery locations are not specified beyond the state of Texas, the contract operates on an F.O.B. destination basis. The District emphasizes transparency and compliance in vendor submissions, requiring full disclosure of pricing, shipping terms, and adherence to terms of the solicitation. Communication with the District is controlled through designated points of contact, and the solicitation is posted on an established electronic bidding portal to facilitate vendor participation.
