Atlas Towers has submitted a request to the County of San Luis Obispo for a Development Plan and Coastal Development Permit to construct and operate a 65-foot monopole wireless communications facility at 400 Monte Cristo Place in Cambria, California, within the Coastal Zone of the North Coast Planning Area and adjacent to the Cambria Urban Reserve Line. The facility consists of six panel antennas and six remote radio units mounted on a 69-foot faux monopole designed to blend with the natural landscape, along with ancillary equipment including a 48kW diesel generator, equipment cabinets, and a PG&E transformer, all contained within an 8-foot-tall fenced enclosure.
