The contract is designated as a total small business set-aside and will be managed by the Department of Defense. Inspection and acceptance of the goods will occur at the destination in Port Hueneme, California, on a FOB destination basis. This notice serves as an intent to solicit and negotiate with a single source rather than a request for competitive proposals, although the government maintains the discretion to determine if a competitive procurement is necessary based on received interest.
