AI Contract Overview
This contract, issued by the Defense Logistics Agency under solicitation number SPEFA5-26-T-0965, requires the delivery of three units of part number 1560-LL-NCB-5916, identified as a critical application item for Bell Textron Inc, to be delivered FOB destination within 62 days of contract award, with no quantity variance allowed. All technical and quality requirements are governed by the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, with specific adherence mandated to MIL-STD-130N for identification marking, MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 for sampling procedures, and MIL-STD-129 for packaging and labeling, superseding ASTM D3951 where applicable. Packaging must comply with DLA’s RP001 standards, including palletization and unit packaging as specified, and all items must be marked and labeled accordingly with the correct unit of issue and quantity per unit pack. Inspection and acceptance occur at the destination, with zero non-conformances required in sampled lots unless otherwise directed, and verification levels are strictly aligned with specified critical, major, and minor attributes. The material has no shelf life requirement, and delivery must reach the designated freight address at Cherry Point, North Carolina, with parcel post instructions provided as a secondary point of contact. The contract is governed by the DLA’s procurement framework, and all referenced military standards, sampling plans, and packaging directives take precedence over general commercial guidelines. The point of contact is Tanya Whitney, and the contract is active with a response deadline in August 2026 and an original required delivery date of November 12, 2026.
