The Space and Naval Warfare System Center Atlantic plans to increase the ceiling of contract numbers N65236-07-D-7882, -7883, and -7884 by $23 million with current awardees BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services, Englobal Technical Services, Inc., and Honeywell Technology Solutions. This sole-source modification aims to fund ongoing engineering support for the Defense Logistics Agency's systems portfolio, specifically for the design, installation, and maintenance of Automated Fuel Handling Equipment and Automatic Tank Gauging Systems at Department of Defense fuel facilities globally. The additional funding will cover requirements identical to the projects being performed under the existing contracts, which are set to expire on June 2, 2012, with an anticipated six-month extension to December 2, 2012. Not increasing the contract ceiling could negatively impact government operations and disrupt fuel services critical to the U.S. military worldwide. This notice serves as a preliminary announcement and not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, any responses must convincingly demonstrate that competition during the extension period would benefit the government. The decision to extend without competition rests solely with the government. Inquiries or comments should be directed via email to the contracting officer, Patricia M. Johnson, at the provided contact.

General Info
