The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) intends to issue a solicitation for an Automated Fuel System Installation project at Pituffik Space Base (SB), Greenland in Fiscal Year 2025. This posting is to provide notice to any potential offeror that the current strategy for this acquisition is to award a cost type contract to the best offeror using a best value, trade off evaluation for award, using full and open competition. Further details for this acquisition will be forthcoming. However, no offeror will be qualified to propose on the upcoming solicitation that does not attend a pre-solicitation survey, on location, at Pituffik SB, Greenland. Key DLA acquisition stakeholders have a (tentatively) scheduled site survey at Pituffik SB on 21AUG24 through 29AUG24. If your organization has the ability to complete this specific type of acquisition, and you are interested in submitting a proposal for the upcoming proposal (still to be determined), then we request you submit your cage code, a Government contracting point of contact, and the names of those individuals you would send to the pre-proposal survey 21-29AUG24 (tentatively) via email to Julie Miller and Trevor Webb at julie.miller@dla.mil and trevor.webb@dla.mil. An example of the work that is expected to be solicited for is provided in the attached performance work statement (PWS) and project requirements document (PRD). Please note these documents are only working copies in draft status and are not finalized documents. For planning purposes please email any responses before close of business on 25 July 2024.
