Full Description

In support of future Full Rate Production (FRP) contract, the Government anticipates releasing the EP B-Kit Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) RFP in the first quarter of FY18. The anticipated contract award will be second quarter of FY19. Total quantity for LRIP will be 8 kits. B-Kit is a single AWACS part number comprised of multiple LRUs which make up the EP B-Kit system. Currently Northrop Grumman is the sole manufacturer of this single kit and due to its security classification and will not be produced by another vendor. Respondents should provide information on how they would procure and provide B-Kits to the production facility at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City OK. Discuss how these kits would be transported to the designated warehousing facility which may or may not be a Government installation. Additionally, discuss quality control measures which are required to complete this project. Include a description of your facilities, manpower and capabilities. Information on your past performance in the manufacturing, kitting and shipping areas should be included in your response. Provide a statement of assumptions and risks. This RFI is issued for the purpose of conducting market research.
