Full Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) manufactures US Currency Bank Notes. Part of the manufacturing process requires use of a software called Flowsys. This is a proprietary software package to KBA Nota-Sys. The software requires upgrading in order to ensure both the Eastern Currency Facility (ECF) and the Western Currency Facility (WCF) are on the same operating system platform. As such the BEP has awarded a fixed price service contract to KBA-NotaSys. The award's period of performance is from 08/31/2011 to 09/01/2012. The award was made under FAR part 15. This was a sole source acquisition per 41 USC 253(c)(1) "only one source". The base award was for $524,106. The award was made to KBA-NotaSys SA Avenue Du Grey 55 Lausanne, Switzerland 1022.
