Special Notice: The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), National Reconditioning Center (NRC) is awarding a Purchase Order for the repair of the following equipment: 30 each SENSOR, ICE FREE WIND (IFW), ASOS MODEL 425NWS (WS425D7A1C), ASN: S100-2A8MT3A2 and 19 each: PROBE/TRANSMITTER ASSY FOR DTS-1, PN: DTT1, ASN: S100-2MT4-3A1A1 to Vaisala, Inc. Sole Source Justification: The Government only knows of one source, the original equipment manufacturer and or sole source of repairs, Vaisala, Inc. A Sources Sought was posted to FBO on July 28, 2015 for 5 days and no responses were received. Market research: ASN: S100-2A8MT3A2 Multiple searches of the Small Business Administration (SBA) Dynamic Small Search did not identify any small business available to compete for this required repair service.
