Bridge Design and Engineering (Structural & Geotechnical)The contract entails the structural and geotechnical design of an eight-span steel through-girder bridge featuring a tied arch system, with all foundations engineered to rest directly on bedrock to ensure long-term stability and load-bearing capacity. The design must fully comply with AASHTO LRFD standards, encompassing all facets of load analysis, material specifications, durability considerations, and seismic performance requirements. The scope includes detailed engineering analyses for both the superstructure and substructure, with emphasis on the integration of the tied arch configuration with the through-girder layout to achieve optimal strength, aesthetic coherence, and maintenance efficiency. The work is classified as a subcontract under NAICS code 541330, issued by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, and performance is localized to District 4, though specific geographic details beyond the district are not provided. The solicitation was posted on June 26, 2026, with an identical response deadline, indicating this may be a placeholder or administrative entry requiring clarification. No set-aside provisions or point of contact details are included, and while the contractual link is provided, no bidder instructions or evaluation criteria are specified within the dataset. All deliverables must meet state and federal transportation engineering requirements without deviation.
