Full Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, Western Ecological Research Center, requires the services of a contractor for the capture, radio attachment, and data collection on three adult golden eagles (Aquila chrysaetos) in the Mojave Ecosystem of Nevada and California. The Government intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with American Eagle Research InstituE (AERIE), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) and the procedures at FAR Part 12 entitled, Acquisition of Commercial Items. AERIE is, to the USGS knowledge, the only source that holds current State and Federal licenses for these activities and has the necessary experience to do so. Other interested concerns having the ability to furnish this or compatible equipment may submit a capabilities statement to the Contracting Officer via email at contact@example.gov no later than the closing date of this announcement at 17:00 local time. All submissions will be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist. All responses must be in writing.
