The Fish & Wildlife Service (Southeast Region) in Atlanta, Georgia 30345 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a sole source contract order for services of refuge assistance in the management of conservation lands, including but not limited to herbicide application, chainsaw operation, heavy equipment operation, mowing, and prescribed fire activities as established under an existing Memorandum of Understanding to the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF), Habitat Management Program, 3333 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel, Florida 33957. Authority cited: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed action will result in a firm-fixed price purchase. The NAICS code is 813312, Environment, Conservation and Wildlife Organizations. The work requirement is primarily location at the J.N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge in Sanibel, FL 33957. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. It is for informational purposes only. However, all quotes received within four (4) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in successive years. Facsimile submissions and oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Written responses shall provide evidence that the offeror can provide all of the requirements.
