This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) solicits offers from qualified vendors (alternatively “Proposer”, “Offeror” and “Bidder”), of which one vendor will be selected to provide pre-employment background screening services to SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University (“SUNY-DHSU”). SUNY-DHSU intends to obtain required electronic information, including but not limited to Fair Credit Reporting Act Disclosure and Authorization, criminal background searches, candidate address confirmation, education and employment history verification, and military service verification. The awarded Vendor will be required to conduct all searches within existing Federal and State guidelines, laws and regulations. The awarded vendor will be required to provide training to SUNY-DMC staff as well as customer service as needed. Those wishing to participate in this procurement may download the RFP documents attached to this advertisement and submit via email a scanned copy of the Summary Information Form (Intent to Bid/No Bid) as soon as possible. Any updates to the solicitation and answers to questions will be posted and released through the New York State Contract Reporter.
