Full Description

THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE TO EOD TECHNOLOGY FOR K-9 SECURITY SUPPORT SERVICES The Joint Contracting Command-Iraq hereby gives notice of its intent to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source contract to EOD Technology, located at: 2229 Old Highway 95, Lenoir City, TN 37771 for K-9 Security Support Services at Baghdad Police College (BPC), Iraq. The proposed contract is for six (6) explosive detection dog teams to support emergency call-outs, tactical operations on a twenty-four hour basis, and provide K-9 support at the BPC entry control points. The period of performance is initially for 45 days with one (1) 5 month option period and two (2) three month option periods. This sole source acquisition is conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-4, International Agreement. This acquisition is to be reimbursed by the Government of Iraq that requires these services from EOD Technology as officially directed by a Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA). This approved LOA is considered an international agreement. Interested parties not in concurrence with this sole source procurement may identify their interest and capabilities by responding to this notice. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. No solicitation will be made available. A determination by the Government not to open to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
