The City of Bowie requests bids from qualified and experienced contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, licensing, insurance, and construction services required for the removal and replacement of five (5) ballistic glass panels at the Community Services’ transaction windows in the lobby of Bowie City Hall, located at 15901 Fred Robinson Way, Bowie, Maryland.
The work shall be consistent with the Scope of Services contained in this Invitation for Bids (IFB).  By submission of a bid, the bidder represents that it is able to comply with all requirements contained in the IFB.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting shall be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.  Please report to City Hall front lobby, located at 15901 Fred Robinson Way, Bowie, Maryland, no later than 9:30 a.m.
All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this IFB are required to be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/6331, prior to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026  Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarifications will be issued no later than Wednesday, September 9, 2026, to all those who have expressed interest in this IFB through the Bid Locker platform.
Bids shall be submitted electronically to the City through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/6331, prior to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026. Any interested party may register with Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/Account/Signup at no cost and access the solicitation documents.  Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via a virtual meeting.  A link to join the meeting will be emailed to all parties who have registered with Bid Locker regarding this IFB.  All blanks on each form provided by the City in connection with this IFB must be filled in, and no change shall be made to any part of the text of the form.
