Ballistic Vests and Fitting

Snohomish County is soliciting bids under ITB-26-0765BC to establish one or more contracts for the procurement of concealable ballistic vests and professional fitting services for the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office. The requirement includes 50 male and 8 female configuration vests that must be new, current production OEM models meeting NIJ Standard 0101.06, Threat Level IIIA and listed on the NIJ Compliant Products List. Additionally, the contractor must provide two semiannual on-site fitting sessions at the Sheriff's Office Range, along with ongoing sizing adjustments and warranty support. Delivery is requested within 30 days after receipt of order, with terms set as FOB destination, freight included. Award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the lowest total evaluated price. To be considered responsible, bidders must be authorized distributors, dealers, or manufacturers with prior experience in providing similar tactical equipment and must provide two customer references for services provided for at least one year. While specific brand names are mentioned, the county will consider equal products that match the form, fit, function, and quality of the original specifications. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Snohomish County Purchasing Division in Everett, WA, by November 17, 2026, at 1:00 pm Pacific local time; electronic submissions are not acceptable.
