Amendment 0001 - The due date for receipt of quotes is extended to 17 July 2026 at 1400 Central Time. Additionally, answers to questions received are being posted. Contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to clean, disassemble/reassemble, and inspect all lifting machinery for the Barkley Lock Emergency Lift Gate, including but not limited to the limit switch assemblies, motors, enclosed gears, open gears, gear mounting assemblies, drums, sheaves, wire rope, brakes, shaft bearings, couplings, and control equipment. Provide the initial inspection reports with pictures of the equipment that show any deficiencies found during the inspection. Provide touch-up painting for all exterior surfaces of items in the scope of work after inspection except as otherwise noted. If a contract option is exercised, paint the respective components (except as otherwise noted) after the work in the contract option is completed. After completion, provide as-built reports that show as-built fits, backlashes, contact patterns and end floats. Initial inspection reports and as-built reports shall be required for all open gears, limit switch assemblies, and enclosed gears. Mark-up of the PDF for as-builts are acceptable. No CAD drawings shall be required for the as-builts. Provide new oil, grease, filters, fasteners, keys, and others as needed to get the Emergency Gate (E-Gate) machinery ready for operation.
