Full Description

This synopsis is for a solicitation for the following: Base Custodial Services at Lajes Field Azores, Portugal. The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that custodial services are performed at Lajes Field, in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat and professional appearance. The maximum cleaning frequencies will be established in accordance with the Air Force Custodial Common Levels of Service Standards. All work performed by the contractor shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, final governing standards for Portugal, instructions, and commercial practices. The solicitation (RFP) will be available in the Government Wide Point of Entry (GWPE) otherwise known as the Federal Business Opportunities System or FedBizOps (http://www.eps.gov), approximately between 4 and 15 February 2013. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) assigned to this acquisition is 561720. This procurement is unrestricted. The period of performance shall be one basic year plus four option years. The solicitation and any amendments will only be made available through the GWPE and no paper copies will be available. It is the offeror's responsibility to make sure all attachments are downloaded for this action. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the web frequently and obtain the solicitation any amendment or other information pertaining to this solicitation. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System Awards Management System (SAM) and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) in order to be eligible for award. Additional information on SAM is available at www.sam.gov Note: New registrations usually take 1 to 2 weeks to process once completed by the vendor.
