Description: Create a fuelbreak by thinning of conifers to a desired spacing as well as the brush understory which shall be cut and treated as slash on the Shasta-McCloud Management Unit, Mr. Shasta Ranger District, Shasta-Trinity National Forest. NOTE: There will be no girdling or pruning just cut and chip or cut and pile. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, and any necessary incidentals to accomplish work on this project. Location: Shasta-Trinity National Forest Set-Aside: This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Government may award more than one contract from this solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award.
