Bay of Islands SAR Project
Corner Brook, NL
Work under this contract includes the following components:
1. Installation of owner supplied 6500L fuel tank and associated equipment including bollards/vehicle protection.
2. New overhead utility line
3. Underground utility to electrical pedestal/fuel tank area
4. New electrical pedestal
5. New light standard
6. Concrete foundation for fuel tank, light standard(s), and pedestal
7. Supply and installation of three (3) 20ft shipping containers
8. Civil works to accommodate all other work.
The Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) requires the above equipment to facilitate
Canadian Coast Guard SAR vessels placement in Corner Brook.
DFO will provide site and detail drawings to complement the specifications that will lay out all required work during Phase 2 of the solicitation.
The Contractor must perform and complete all work within six (6) weeks of contract award.
