BBG Synthesio Social Media User Monitoring

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT This notice is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) section 5.201 to notify the public of a proposed contract action. The North American Identification Classification System (NAICS) code is 518210, and the size standard is $38,500,000. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302(c)(1). The Broadcasting Board of Governors/International Broadcasting Bureau (BBG/IBB), Office of Contracts (CON) located at 330 Independence Ave, SW Washington, D.C. 20237, intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Synthesio Technology (Small Business), 35 West 31 Street, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10001. The requirement is for a qualified Contractor to monitor specific keywords about the Voice of America's (VOA) reporting initiatives within social media and website content. This Public Notice of Intent to non-competitively procure the above described services from Synthesio is NOT a request for competitive price quotations or proposals. Interested firms must submit adequate documentation of their capability to respond to this requirement in writing within fifteen (15) calendar days after the posting date of this notice. All documentation submitted shall be in sufficient depth and detail, to allow for an evaluation without the need for added information. The Government will not accept oral, facsimile or incomplete submissions. A final determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement will be based upon the response to this Public Notice, and is solely within the discretion of the Government. All inquiries concerning this matter shall be submitted in writing to both the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer by September 1, 2018. This public notice is not an RFP, RFQ or IFB.
