Issuing Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Purchasing Conducting Procurement Unit: Division of Forestry, Fire & State Lands
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide: Wildfire hazard reduction and improved wildlife habitat by mechanically removing/shredding Pinyon and Juniper that have been cut and Pinyon Pine and Juniper trees and saplings, with a wheeled or tracked MECHANICAL MULCHING/SHREDDER (Bullhog) on 34 acres of DWR land East of Parowan, Utah by October 31st, 2026.
Mandatory Site Visit: A site visit will NOT be held prior to bidding. It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Project Performance Time: From time of award until October 31st, 2026.
Vendor must guarantee its pricing through completion of the project.
