Beach Sand Supply and Placement

This subcontract for Beach Sand Supply and Placement involves the sourcing, hauling, and installation of beach-grade sand for prime contractors working on shoreline projects for the City of South Lake Tahoe and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. The scope of work includes initial sand replenishment and continuous maintenance throughout the 2027, 2028, and 2029 construction seasons to ensure the delivery of a replenished public beach area. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary hauling and placement equipment and ensuring that all materials strictly adhere to Lake Tahoe environmental standards. This project is managed under the California Fish and Wildlife Region 2 Northern Central office and is performed specifically within South Lake Tahoe.
