Beamline 4.3.1 Monochromator system

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is issuing a Request for Information under solicitation JG-0909-26 to identify potential providers for a high-stability X-ray monochromator system for Beamline 4.3.1 at the Advanced Light Source. The system is intended to support a broad scientific program in small- and wide-angle X-ray scattering, with optimized performance required at 10 keV and 17 keV. Key technical requirements include a double-multilayer monochromator baseline with an energy bandwidth of approximately 1 percent, a Si(111) crystal monochromator for higher resolution over 10 to 17 keV, and the integration of cryo-cooling for the first multilayer to manage thermal distortions.
