INVITATION TO BID PART 1: GENERAL 1.1 Competitive Cost Sealed Bids Separate sealed Bids for construction of Big Indian Creek at I-75 Sewer Upgrades for the City of Perry (Bid Number 2025-08) will be received until Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the City Administration Building, 1211 Washington Street, Perry, GA 31069. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud at said office. Any bid received after Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.will not be considered by the Owner. Following the closing time for the receipt of bids, no bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. 1.2 Scope of Work The work to be performed and provided under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, safety equipment, permitting, erosion and sedimentation control measures, taxes, profit, overhead, and other costs and effort required to complete the following: Installation of 340 LF 15¿ RJ SDR26 PVC gravity sewer, 100 LF 15¿ SDR26 PVC gravity sewer, 20 LF 12¿ SDR26 PVC gravity sewer, associated gravity sewer manholes, and connections to the existing sewer system. The project also includes the jack and bore of Interstate 75 with 320 LF 36¿ steel casing. The time allotted for substantial completion of the work is 90 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, and the time allotted for final completion of work is 120 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
