Bid 27-07: Purchase of Bus Maintenance Supplies

INVITATION TO BID   Sealed Bids will be received in the Purchasing Department of the Rapides Parish School Board, in the Rapides Parish School Board Office Building, Sixth and Beauregard Streets, Alexandria, Louisiana until May 27, 2026 at 11:00 A.M.   Purchase of Bus Maintenance Parts and Supplies (BID NO 27-07)     After stamping to acknowledge timely receipt, the bids will be publicly opened and read by the Executive Committee and/or staff of the Rapides Parish School Board.  Sole responsibility for proper delivery of bid is that of the bidder.  Any offer received after closing time, May 27, 2026 at 11:00 A.M., will be returned unopened.   Specifications and bid forms may be obtained from the Purchasing Department, Rapides Parish School Board by emailing your request to purchasingdept@rpsb.us or mailing your request to P. O. Box 7117, Alexandria, Louisiana 71306 or 619 Sixth Street, Alexandria, LA 71301 or by visiting www.centralbidding.com; fees may be associated with the use of this site.   All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of $1,000.00 and must be in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, Bank Money Order or Bid Bond written by a company licensed to do business in the State of Louisiana.    Awards will not be made on the date of the bid opening, but will be awarded by the School Board at a later meeting.   Subject to the provisions of R.S. 38:2211 et.
