ADVERTISEMENT   INVITATION TO BID   Sealed bids will be received in the Purchasing Department of the Rapides Parish School Board Office Building, 619 Sixth Street, Alexandria, Louisiana 71301 until 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 18, 2026 for:         Air Cooled Chiller Replacement at Oak Hill High School      (BID NO. 27-15)    After stamping to acknowledge timely receipt, the bids will be publicly opened and read by the Executive Committee and/or staff of the Rapides Parish School Board.  Sole responsibility for proper delivery of bid is that of the bidder.  Any offer received after closing time (11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 18, 2026 will be returned unopened.   To obtain specifications and bid forms, please contact the RPSB Purchasing Department by emailing your request to purchasingdept@rpsb.us or sending your written request to 619 Sixth Street, Alexandria, LA 71301.  Specifications and bid forms are also available at www.centralbidding.com; fees may be associated with the use of this site.   All bids must be accompanied by an original bid security equal to five (5%) of the total amount bid and must be in the form of a Bid Bond written by a company licensed to do business in the State of Louisiana.   There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Oak Hill High School – Front Office Entrance.   Award will not be made on the date of the bid opening, but will be awarded by the School Board at a later meeting.   Subject to the provisions of R.S. 38:2211, et seq., the Rapides Parish School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause.
