Bidders to install an LNG trim heater and generator at our LNG facility.

The Middleborough Gas & Electric Department (MGED) is seeking sealed bids for the furnishing, fabrication, and installation of a natural gas trim heater and associated standby generator at its LNG peak shaving facility located at 2 Vine Street, Middleborough, Massachusetts. The project encompasses all civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation work necessary to complete the system, with strict adherence to applicable codes and standards including ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Section IX, ASME B31.3, OSHA PPE requirements, and Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M. All work must be completed and accepted by October 1, 2026, with material deliveries anticipated by July 31, 2026.
