Bid #26LS0003: The contractor will provide all labor, materials, transportation, and permits for monthly (or as-needed) bio-hazardous and pharmaceutical waste pick-up and disposal services for the CalVet Veterans Home in Lancaster. The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, including the California Medical Waste Management Act. Services include removing waste from approximately two 44-gallon containers, inspecting/cleaning containers, providing manifests and certificates of disposal, and maintaining an adequate supply of replacement containers. The contractor must also be able to respond to unscheduled/emergency pickups within 24 hours.
